Director
Hi! I'm Margie Charleston and I am proud to be the Director here at the Spotswood Kiddie Academy. I joined the Kiddie Academy faculty in 1999 as the Assistant Director at our North Brunswick center. In 2001, I became the Director and high quality early childhood experience.
I have always loved working with children and their families and have done so for the past twenty years. I began my career working part time at a child care center while attending college. I went on to open a family childcare business along with serving as an advocate for the New Jersey Family Childcare Providers Association. I joined the Kiddie Academy family in 1999 serving as an Assistant Director and then a Director. I love my job because I have the opportunity to work with children, families, teachers, and my community. I am always attending workshops and seminars to further my knowledge in early childhood education fiels. This career path is a natural choice for me since I grew up in a large family surrounded by children.
My husband Dan and I have been doubly bless with our twins Damien and Ava. Nathan came four years later and all are a part of our Kiddie Academy family. I also have two great stepsons, Tim and Kenny. Our Chocolate Lab, Lacey, completes our full house.
I found my home at Kiddie Academy and am grateful to be a part of this amazing team of dedicated people. I look forward to creating a fun, educational, and loving environment for everyone who enters our doors!
Assistant Director
Hi! My name is Christine Walters and I am the Assistant Director here at Kiddie Academy. I joined the team in 2001. I started at the Hillsborough school and had the exciting opportunity to open the Spotswood school.
I started out in the field in 1995 when I opened my own family child care business. Simultaneously I was an advocate for the New Jersey Family Child Care Provedier's Association. I moved onto a customer service and inspection representative at Catholic Charities. My repsonsibilities included inspecting family child care homes. This benefited me greatly. It made me realize that I needed to go back a hands on position in the child care field. My goal is to continously create an environment to be proud of and meets the needs of every child that walks through our doors.
When I am not here I enjoy spending time with my husband Joe and my children Taylor, Zoe and Lincoln. They are all part of the Kiddie Academy family and love it! One of the benefits I think I get from being a mom is constantly asking myself "Is this what I would want for my child?"

Curriculum Specialist
Hello and welcome! I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to all of our friends who visit us online. My name is Cathy Tribuzio and I am the Curriculum Specialist.
I enjoy the early childhood profession and have had the privilege of interacting with many families and built wonderful relationships over the years that I will always treasure.
I am very proud to be a part of the Kiddie Academy community! I have over 16 years experience in educating and fostering the growth and development of young children.
